These terms are an agreement between you and [OWNER LEGAL NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us") about your use of Bloomstead, the game and website at mybloomstead.com (the "Game"). By playing the Game or buying anything in it, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can play
You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE, e.g. 13] years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and must approve any purchase.
2. Your account
You can play without an account; your town is then saved only on your device. If you create an account, keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@mybloomstead.com if you think someone else has used it.
3. Coins and other virtual items
Coins are an in-game currency. You can earn them by playing or buy them in optional coin packs. Coins and other virtual items:
- can only be used in the Game;
- have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, or sold;
- are licensed to you for personal use, not sold to you as property.
We may change how coins are earned, what items cost, or what items are available, for example to keep the Game balanced.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by our payment partner, [PAYMENT PARTNER, e.g. Xsolla], which acts as the seller of record and handles payment, taxes and receipts. Its terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown before you pay. Purchased coins are added to the account you are logged into. See our Refund Policy.
5. Our charity commitment
We commit 10% of our net revenue from the Game (the money we receive after payment and platform fees) to one real-world goal at a time, currently [CURRENT GOAL, e.g. building a community garden at (location/organization)]. 6. Fair play
Please don't cheat, exploit bugs, interfere with the Game or other players, or use the Game to break the law. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and remove coins or items gained unfairly.
7. The Game is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep Bloomstead running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or stop parts of the Game. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the Game or on this website before it takes effect. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], except where the law of the country you live in gives you rights that can't be changed by agreement.
